Default Stage 2 or LS7

Search sucks, so here it goes...

Clutch is going on my 2001 SS.

Im looking mainly at a Spec Stage 2 or LS7 (although open to other suggestions such as centerforce and mcleod)

Does anyone have any experience with the Spec Stage 2? When it comes to Spec please keep comments limited to Spec Stage 2; I know alot of people have the Stage 3 and Stage 3+ but that is not an option. My car is a stock daily driver and I would like something with a long life and good drivability (with potential for minor upgrades)

The only reason I am shying away from the LS7 setup (w/ LS2 flywheel) is the weight. The car seems a little sluggish to me as is. But on the other hand, how much does the extra weight help drivability from a dead stop due to the extra momentum? Anybody w/ before and after experience?

I had a 91 Camaro (w/ carb'd 350) that I was running a centerforce on. From a drivability standpoint it was fantastic, so I am considering this as well. The only reason its not high on my list is I hear alot of bad things about them and I never got a chance to really "test" the mine. (motor went on the car within 2 weeks of getting it on the road)

Thanks in advance!

If you like the Centerforce look at #395010. It's a 12" Dual Friction advertised for power adders. I have one in my car and it seems to be holding up.
