Default What is a used T-56 worth with hydraulics included?

Someone was interested in my T-56 and hydraulics, and I was trying to come up with a fair price. The T-56 is in my 2001 Z28, was freshly rebuilt a while ago with upgraded shift forks, and has only had a few thousand miles put on it since the rebuild.

What do you think the fair value is for this tranny and hydraulics? No clutch/shifter or anything else is to be included.

I have been looking at used trannys, and most of what I have seen they are going for anywhere between 700$-1000$

If it shifts fine and you are willing to let the guy drive it before hand you might get as high as $1200. If he does not have the ability to do that I would think you will most likely get $1000.

You might want to tell him who built it, supply the invoice and start high on the amount. The worst he will do is chew you down on price.

Thanks,
Amber
