Default Roadracing clutch?

I have a 2003 z06. Right now it has 397rwhp . Future mods will be a procharger and longtubes. I need a clutch that will handle the horsepower and be good for roadracing. What ya guys got in mind?

I would contact LG Motorsports, Phoenix, DRM, etc. (i.e.; the ones who actually road race these cars), and see what they suggest.
IF it's going to be a track only car, one of the small diameter, triple plate (carbon/carbon??) racing clutches would probably be best (Tilton, AP, Exedy, Clutch Masters, etc.).
If it's going to see most of it's time on the street, then I'd go with a Cartek or a Tex(tralia) Exoskeleton multi-plate.

You could also try registering on www.frrax.com and asking for suggestions over there. They are first and foremost an f body road racing site, but some also have/have had y bodies.

What are you hoping to make in terms of torque with your planned mods? There are a number of available options. Let me know and I will be happy to make a more spcifics suggestion. Thanks!

Exedy Twin will work well on the road course. Anything smaller is a fine line between streetable and down right difficult to drive.

The exedy will hold the power and has the best plate departure, allowing for easier shifts and extending the life of the syncros. Its a great clutch.
