Default What do you think about this Pressure plate?

Trying to save some time and money. I'm wise and not foolish though.

If I can't use this I won't. Let me know your thoughts.

I put in a clutch and ran it for 2k miles. The pilot bearing wasn't removed properly and I had to fix the crank plug problem...

Pics of Pressure Plate I want to use

I wonder if I can use this pressure plate by fine sanding or machine the hot spots off?

The PP looks okay but from my experience from SPEC all their PP's are very hard and make the pedal feel like crap/very hard. I would recommend a new clutch kit. SPEC is evil. Do you plan on changing the Disk. THat thing is not going to be any good. Its contaminated.

I coulda guessed this would happen.......

Thanks for the reply post. I am not using the disc bro! LOL

The post is regarding the continued use of the pressure plate with a new disc, new flywheel insert for the Fidanza, new T/O and Pilot bearings, and the new updated slave that's in there.

I dislike Spec and I have the Textralia clutch. This is for my GF's car and she likes everything about the SPEC 3 except for the howling it makes when it's dead cold. Only makes that noise until it's hot (one or two dead stop to first gear runs). That only happened on 2 back to back Spec 3 installs that I did on f bodies. I've installed a total of 4 so maybe that was a bad batch?
