Tired of this setup. This internal slave unit for our 98-02 f-bodies is the worst i've ever come across. Is there a way to put an external slave with a fork on our cars. i have an LT1 w/t-56 and never had a problem with it. I'm thinking of putting the 94 z28 tranny and bellhousing up to see if it fits the ls1.
There is entirely too much maintenance involved with the current setup. Yes i'm having the stuck to the floor issues everyone else is having and i have the drill mod, flushed numerous times bla...bla...bla....

If you're still on the stock clutch, you probably just need to upgrade. Your power level is too high for the stocker. It can be made to work. I've been running a Spec 3i for several years without a problem. Make sure you have the 01-02 slave, a good clutch and your hydraulic lines insulated from heat.
