yes they are the dogbones that hold the syncros together,
YOu will need to get it rebuilt and maby a couply of new gears should be able to get it done for about 500-800 bucks.

depends on the bad gear you've got now. believe me those thingies are a pain to get back in there. they come installed on the new synchros allready because thay are that big a pain to re-install. if you dont mind driving down to corpus christi, i can rebuild them for 250 plus parts.

per gear? or per synchro? the sync assemblies are like 150 a pop, gears are more spensive though. if it's just 5-6, you can do that w/o even getting into the fat side of the case.

yah I had him look at the inside gears too they were good but he replaced 5 6 reverse and the sincro and he said 850 for parts and 300 for labor which I think was very fair as long as the parts were that much
