Might be hanging on the pilot bearing . I'd probably take a close look at the end of the input shaft for wear and replace the pilot bearing while you have it apart .
As for getting it apart , you might need to use a pry bar or large screw driver to pry between the front of the trans and the bellhousing to help it out but make sure you have a hold of the trans when you do this in case it just slips out really easy .

its up on a jack, i dont think its very secure though so im just gonna stay out from under itand try the prying technique and if that dont work i will wait untill morning its starting to get dark here and i dont have a light to work with...

ok its completely out and apart now the two very front gears are toast along with the bearings so i need a new cluster and input shaft and the bearings and while its a part im gonna put new synchros n your basic replace items. is there any upgrade parts i can put in there to make it stronger?

Damn you are screwed ....... The cost of those two gears alone new are going to be damn close to what you can find a used one for .
Do the gears look like they are blued and layed over or do they look like shiny breaks where the teeth use to be ?
Basic list of parts you will need at the minimum :
LT1 input shaft
Cluster gear
complete bearing kit
Steel 3/4 fork
syncros through out the unit
fork inserts for 1/2 , 5/6 & reverse
Very possibly a 3/4 slider assembly if the gear got into the hub and did damage
Do the gears look like they are blued and layed over or do they look like shiny breaks where the teeth use to be ?

Is the other unit an LT1 ? If so and its not from a 93 model car , then you are good to go . The way you described the damage really sounds like the unit was run low on fluid . How much did you drain out ?

ok how much does that transmission mechanic stuff in a can cost is it cheaper than rebuilding mine? or buying one from you and also do u take cores if they look like mine? no front 2 gears?
