Are the auto DS's the same length as the M6?

I am not a GM expert but am pretty sure they are the same length .....

all the driveshafts from 1983 thru 2002....auto, manual, 5spd, 6spd, V6, V8, steel, aluminum....are all interchangeable on the Fbodies.

only real issue is that the v6 units are 2 piece...but who would upgrade to one of those?
