Default can this be the clutch

I take too long going between gears during races.
I also can't get into sixth without pushing pass a grinding sound. Once in sixth, everything is fine. I drove my friends WS6 and a stock Z06 today, I can shift their car fine. I have my stock 02 clutch with 394rwhp, but I'm losing to the stock 02 Z06 between shifts. Can this be the clutch? or trans

when my clutch was going out it would kinda stall between gears. I would shift at 6k and it would drop to like 4500 and kinda pause for a second before it started climbing back up. Got an ls7 clutch and no hesitation. I never had grinding though. That could be your slave cylinder.

Any reason why the slave should only cause grinding going to sixth. I didn't notice this problem until after I had a guy do the drill mod.

I hate to show my ignorance, but I have the car jacked up. Where's the bleeder screw. I've bled a prelude before so I think I can do it.

sorry for the late reply i'm sure its too late now but if not its directly above the hydrolic line. it took me forever to find it too. it doesn't stick out at all its sunk into the bell housing. if you can't find it go to your local parts store and ask to see a picture of the slave cylinder then it will make sense. you'll need a 11mm 1/4 drive deep socket and go to town. good luck to ya

1/4 drive breaker bar works best. Also, when you raise the car, set it up so that the rear of the car is slightly higher than the front. That will put any bubbles that are in the slave cylinder right on the bleed port which is top rear in the cylinder.

did u really have problems after the drill mod, that scars me a bit to do the drill mod now, but yea for the bleeder look directly up at the hydralic line going to the tranny and put your finger on the line and go straight up and you should feel a hole and in there is the bleeder
