machining a shorter stick from scratch!! hi guys, my dads a machinist so im gonna have him make me a new shifter stick, so it replaces my gay factory rubber insulated one! anybody know the exact demensions and sizes and lenghs i can use to have my dad make it or me! thanks 4 the help guys

yea i guess i have to pull mine off to let him measure it, but i guess i can show him some pics and i think some ebay listings have all the demensions listed for them so ill jus use that thanks guys
Yea, the one I got for 20 something dollars on ebay is just a steel rod, threaded, with two bolt holes and two flats machined on the trans end. I never measured it but the shift ball is about 1/4" above the boot.

but does the shifter feel bout right?? like does it feel right in the middle, i was wondering why they dident do that little curve like the stock one has

I don't remember why but when I installed the Hurst billet plus I didn't use that block.
Actually I found it and attached their pic below, this is what I have.
