Default skip shift

i just bought a 1995 m6 z28 i was told the skip shift was unpluged (the reason i have S.E.S light) now i need to get the car inspected so i need the light to go away where would the wire be and were does it plug in. help please

it should be under on the trans itself. I forgot actually which side it is on when i was doing mine but it was really under there. It looks like a big plug with 4 pins i believe. its kinda a pain to get at because its somewhat on the side of the trans towards the top half so you have to reach

its the plug nearest to the engine on the drivers side i believe if im worng it should be pretty easy to figure out because it will be the one unplugged. you might as well go to the radio shack and pick up a resistor and get the !cags mod haha. I dont remeber the resistor but it should be on installuniversity.com
