Default clutch pedal exorcism

After getting the engine back in the car, the clutch pedal was working fine using the McLeod master. Had a bit of dead space at the top of the pedal play, but otherwise working fine. A month later the shifter gets stuck between 4th & neutral and I have it rebuilt. That was on 9/4.

They have a hard time bleeding it due to the slave bleeder extension. They bled it some more and moved the end of the extension higher so the air would travel away from the slave. The pedal still needs to be pumped because sometimes it would fall or not come up from the floor.

The car was down another couple of weeks because the rear end also needed rebuilt. Pedal still needed to be pumped after I got it back last week.

This afternoon it felt very odd. It used to engage about half way down. Now it has no dead space at the top of the pedal, and it's engaging at the top of the pedal. It almost seems like a stock pedal except for the pedal travel, which I can reduce with the rod.

So, did I have air in the line and perhaps it finally worked it's way out? Or is there something else awry?

i wish someone would chime in here cause i am having similar problems. Sometimes i have some dead space in mine too. Sometimes it will engage right off the floor with alot of dead space, other times it comes all the way to the top. I have no idea what is going on
