why is this in my T56 Guys,
Help me identify what broke in my T56. I just opened up the case and found the below. Looks like the magnet caught it but I'm not sure what else it damaged.

The first pic is kind of blury but, it looks like it might have come off of the reverse fork. Pull that fork off and look at both ends...
By the way, I am at about the same stage you are in the disassembly. I only had pieces of slider keys, (again), on my magnets.

Thanks for the offer, but I get enough practice on ths one... Unfortunately. Mayve I'll get it right this time. I've already replaced the 3-4 slider, then I took the teeth off of second gear, and now this. Three times in one summer

Yes its a piece of a broken fork . If its steel its either 5/6 or reverse . If its aluminum its 1/2 or 3/4 if not already upgraded to steel . The picture is kind of blury so its hard to make out completely .
