Default Clutch pedal goes limp under hard acceleration

When I floor it in 1st or 2nd gear, from a stop or while rolling, the car will pull hard but when I clutch in to shift, it feels really soft until the catch point where it firms up. Then the clutch pedal stays soft like that for a while then after I shift to 3rd or 4th its good again. Anyone have any idea whats wrong? I'm pretty sure this isn't normal.

Let me guess. Headers? Use a higher temp rated fluid or wrap your lines.

Since you did't mention it has stuck to the floor yet I would recomend a good flush of the hydrolic fluid and also wrap the line from the master to the slave as already mentioned.
