Default Which of These Tranny Mounts?

I am just wondering what the consensus on the few available poly tranny mounts are for my car. I know this has been done a million times. I am just wondering if one make is better than the other as in application (install, fit, etc) as performance will obviously be identical, pretty much.

Out of the following listed here, which one wold you prefer?

http://www.ws6project.com/user_stor/...ddb4b2ec2ef3e2

I just ask because I know of some people having hard times installing a certain type of mount, but I forget if it had to do with a specific make. I did a search, but none of them had to do with the kind of question I'm asking.

Any one better fit than the other?

I also notice that everyone says to not use the preload plate when installing the ply trans mount. Is there any reason for this?

No idea, but i recall something of the sort. Maybe it's to take out some of the harshness of the mount.

just make sure you dont install poly mounts on the tranny without a similarly stiff mount (poly or solid) for the motor as well.

the poly mounts will hold the trans rock steady, but the stock rubber motor mounts will let the engine twist in the craddle when torque is applied. without rubber mounts on the trans as well, all of that twisting motion gets transferred right into the bellhousing and you might start breaking bolts, cracking your bell housing, or even your tranny case...

This is the first time I have heard this...

Now I'm worried.

Has anybody else run into any problems when installing the poly tranny mount? Problems as in what SS101 stated? I can see that adding stiffness to the tranny will add more stress on other parts, but I didn't think it would be a problem.

I don't plan on replacing the motor mounts with poly/solids unless I have to, as in one breaks or I have to remove the engine for any type of work on it in the first place.
