Default How important is it to have a clutch and flywheel balanced together?

Well, my clutch took a dump last weekend and I am getting ready to purchase a new one. I am going to order a SPEC stage III+ and they said they will balance the clutch and flywheel together at no additional charge. The only thing is I will have to wait on it for awhile. Do I wait or just buy one off the shelf.

I would get it balanced to avoid any vibrations. My last two Spec clutches need a lot of material removed to get them balanced.

Looking back I wish I would have waited for a balanced set. Its really up to you as long as both are balanced and together or not, either way should be fine.

Good luck, Tom

Cool, thanks guys. I am having them balance the clutch and flywheel together, I just need to be patient.
