02 camaro ss. M6 Sometimes, when stopping, i get a grinding noise. Its sounds like something spinning and wont lock in, but you cant feel it in the shifter. Doesnt matter if its in gear or not. Also, at low speeds, in gear or not, i hear a ticking sound, like if something were tied around my driveshaft. Anyone ever had this problem

ya i get a grinding noise when on the gas in 5th and 6th and i get a ticking sound above 45mph..im thinking rear end is shot

???? That could be in the diff or something in the trans as well . I'd take it to a qualified shop that has experience in drivetrains . You'd be surprised how many people that work at shops have no idea how to trouble shoot drivetrain issues and just start changing parts hoping to fix the problem along the way .
