M6 -> A4 & A4 -> M6 I have a 98 Z28 A4. A friend has a 2000 WS6 M6. He wants my built auto and I want the six speed.
From my reading the T56 will drop right into mine little sweat, just need to solder some wires and put a 6 speed tune in it.
I can't find much on what is needed to put my A4 in his M6 car.

The 4l60e is an electronically controlled transmission, so unless you convert to a manual valvebody, your options are to find/buy a harness to connect it to the factory pcm or buy a standalone controller to run the transmission. Cheapest way to do it is a wiring harness.
