Default Hope somone can help!!

Been having this problem for a little while with my 99 Z. I'm feeling some grind like or slap like vibrations in my floor board in 1rst and 2nd gears. But only at high torque like punching it or getting on it a little heavy. When just easing it you can't feel anything. Is this a clutch problem like throw-out bearing or am I losing my tranny? Any suggestions? Does this sound common?

Do you have a driveshaft loop or chassis brace? If so, it may be the exhaust hitting the brace under the load of acceleration....just something to consider...

I have the stock brace. If it were the exhaust wouldn't you hear a "clangy" sound along with the banging in the floorboard? I'll take a look at that tonight. Man, it sure would be nice for it to be something as simple as that.

I only get a "rumbling" when mine bumps my Lakewood driveshaft loop (I'll be adjusting that soon). I don't hear the "expected clanging", I knew it would likely hit when I installed it, so the noise wasn't a suprise (but the sound of it was). Maybe you'll get lucky!!

Maybe I should have said "I get only a rumbling...."
