You can get a gear oil pump (that works great for automatic transmission fluid, which is what the T56 takes) for about $9 at your local parts store. Just stick it in the bottle and pump the fluid until it drips out the hole...quick and easy! YOu can take out the shifter, that works as well....but the pump is easier....

just take the shifter off. it's the easiest way. 4 quarts of atf later and thats it.

other than that, you could just tilt the whole car up on it's nose, take out the Ds and pour it down the gap by the output shaft.

If you do the "shifter method".

Set the car on jackstands and make sure it is level.

Remove the fill plug from the transmission.

Pour atf into the shifter hole until it runs out on the ground.

Put plug back in transmission.

Reinstall shifter and console.

Lower vehicle

Or, by the time you get it apart, level and have the shifter out. I can go to the store, buy fluid and a pump and be finished. It took my about 7 minutes to fill my tranny with the pump and changing bottles, etc. Just my thoughts.

your rght I bought the pump for 5.99 worked good just hard to get under the car with a gallon bottle of oil but way better than taking the console out way better. I dont think my car was level first time. Your right I can swap the trans almost as quick as pouring the shifter way. Thanks for all your help
