Flywheel starter gear
Flywheel starter gear I recently swapped my a4 car to a t56 setup. After two weeks worth of long evenings, I finally went to start the car last night----nothing. I get under the car to look, and the gear on the flywheel that the starter engages with is spinning on the flywheel.
The guy I swapped parts with said everything works fine, but you know how that goes.
Is this fixable or am I looking at a new flywheel? If the flywheel needs replaced, where is the absolute cheapest place to get a new one? My parts fund = near zero right now.
