Default 97 Camaro 6-Speed to C5 ls1

What do I need to mate a 97 Camaro 6 speed with a C5 ls1?

Is the T56 going into the C5 w/Ls1 or is the C5 Ls1 going into the 97 Camaro?
,Cause if the T56 out of the 97 Camaro is going into the C5 Vette you may run into a small prob.

They are both going in my 67 Nova.

You'll need to change the input shaft, front plate and bellhousing to LS1 pieces.

I agree, I am going to post this tranny in the classifieds, and try to get another one soon. I was hoping only a bellhousing, I didn't know about the output shaft. Thank you guy's for your help.
