While the 93-97 LT1s DO have hydrualic actuation, they employ a different method of disengaging the clutch. The LT1's have a traditional lever that is pushed upon by an external (to the bellhousing) Slave cylinder. This push on the lever, pivoting on a ball in the perimeter of the bellhousing, pulls the pressure plates diaphram fingers and disengages the clutch. The LS1 has a 'collar' style Slave cylinder that rides over the input shaft housing.

okay i've seen everybody say that the stops need to be adjusted correctlly??? what is the process? or does B&M outline that in their instructions? It's been about a year since I did my shifter and I don't think that I installed the stops..but after reading all of these posts I think that I'm going to go home and do them tonite...
