Default Clutch choice

Well the other morning my clutch pedal stuck to the floor and the car wouldn't move into gear. About 20 minutes later everything seemed ok but I believe the clutch is finally blowing after 45k miles. I've been considering either the centerforce dual friction, or the star spec stage 2 for my replacement. Eventual plans for the car (98 t/a) will be around 350-380rwhp n/a and then a 100 shot. My question is which one of these clutches can hold near 500 horses better and still retain good street manners for daily driving since the car almost never sees the track. What's the average life on these clutches figuring in only occasional track visits and a semi-aggressive driver (when it's warm out at least )?

I don't think either of those clutches will hold, especally the centerforce. I'f i where you i'd go with thr Ram VDS w/910 disk and 1550 flywheel. This clutch is problably more streetable then the star or the centerforce and will handle 500+rwhp. I've also had very good luck with cartek's clutch, i put about 350rwhp N/A and 500+ N2O and it lasted over 80 passes (many launching over 6000rpm on the spray, cutting low 1.5/high1.4 60-foot times in a heavy car) and about 10K street miles. BTW i took it out anticipating alot more power this year so i took it out, it still had about 1/2 its life left.

P.S. I hear Mcloud Rev-Lock II is pretty good to.

If you wanted the SPEC, I would go with their stage 3 instead of stage 2. Not one hint of a problem with mine, but I'm only at 400rwhp
