I rebuilt my tranny with lv. 1 sixspeedsinc. package and I bought a used mcleoud master and rebuilt it with the willwood kit and all seems better now. I havent raced it much yet so I'll have to keep you posted when I do.

On my 99 c5 Im having issues similar..
When I get up to about 6500 RPM. and shift, The clutch pedal gets as hard as a rock, and its almost impossible to shift it into gear.
What causes the pedal to get hard as a rock at High rpm like that? Then after that youll be pulling away from a stop, when u barely let off the pedal, the clutch harshly engages, I mean as soon as your foot moves back its engaged literally jumping forward like you popped the clutch, no gradual engagement/normal slipppage to pull off smoothly.
The master is stock, and new, slave is stock and new. Drill mod performed, Stock Ls6 clutch?(Car has 415WHP)
Is it the clutch or are my hydraulics no good even though they are new?
