Default LT1-T56 scatter sheild

does anyone make an aftermarket bellhousing (scattersheild) for an lt1 and t56?

Quicktime performance is making them as I understand. Try a search here in the manual forums for Quick Time Bellhousings. It gives you the information you need.

they make one for an sbc and a t56,but i think it uses ls1 style slave cyl and a push type clutch,thats the impression i get from there application chart anyways.i wanted to keep all my lt1 style clutch and fork.

It is not for the LT box. it is for a LS or Viper shaft to SBC. The LT needs a 4.90" deep can and that quicktime is 5.50 inches. Mcleod is in the process of revising their 8710-15 to work as a 4.90" can and be a direct bolt on for all LT-1's.
