shifting problems at WOT!
i've got a 00'trans am. upgraded hydrolics, centerforce dual friction clutch. when i am driving normal, or at half throttle, i can shift fine and fast and everything seems to work fine, but when i get to WOT and rpm's get high, when i try to shift, it wont let me go into gear, i have to hold it there for a second or two, and when the rpm's get back down it slides right in, i dont understand it, it dont grind or anything, it just dont let me into gear. say for example, driving normal from 2nd to 3rd it goes it quick and easy, but WOT from 2nd to 3rd i have to keep the clutch in and hold it up there till the rpm's get down and then slides right in, wont let me get into gear at high rpm's. Any one got any suggestions.
I have the same problem, and you need to get your flywheel balanced. I just bought a cf fw steel and I hope this works. CF says that in the upper rpms if the flywheel is not 0 balanced then the weights in the pressure plate get throun to one side and makes it hard to shift.
