I would concur with the general consensus on this one....the LS7 clutch is a great (upgraded) replacement for the stock LS1 clutch. I got tired of my LS1 clutch pedal sticking under hard acceleration, so I installed the LS7 and haven't had a problem since.

If you have an alignment tool from a past install, it will work fine as long as it's in good shape. The pilot bearing (or bushing, as some people choose) is added insurance. You might get the old flywheel off and realize your pilot bearing is shreded. Sure would be nice to have that $15 bearing ready to go.

Is there a rating the LS7 clutch kit is able to handle? I'm looking for something to hold 450rwhp.

Thanks guys... I figured it would hold; just makes me feel better to have poeple that have actually used it and know that it works. A lot cheaper than spending hundreds of dollars on a SPEC or a Centerforce.

All you need is the pilot bearing if your not having any issues with the clutch sticking. But It wouldnt be a bad idea to do the slave and master at the same time as the clutch because I can almost garantee you will need them soon anyway.
