So heres what you do, be smarter than the pedal, get out of the car and pump it with your hand. If theres a lot of air it will have to be pulled back manually because the spring on the pedal is pretty stiff. I had to do this for 15 minutes when I put my new master in with a used tranny for my swap. But like they said you MUST leave the pedal to the floor when your buddy closes the valve or it will just suck air right back in. Also, make sure you check your reservoir level now and again.

you push in the clutch, you hold it in, you crack the bleeder for a few seconds at most, close bleeder and release the clutch. More than likely you NEED to pull back the pedal to replace the lost fluid with fluid from the reservoir. After a few pumps it should come back, if not, pump the pedal than repeat the above.
It just takes time to do it, you can't expect a clutch to bleed in a few mins, for me it takes a good 7-8 tried before I get it back to the feel I like.

I had the same issues as the op, what was wrong was I had messed up the slave bleeder valve by tightening it down to tight thus smashing the tip of it. Which allowed air to get into the system because it would not seal.

I have new master (made adjustable), new slave, fresh clutch, fresh flywheel, mity-vac bled, and I still gets ome trouble out of mine! Dont assume new parts are the answer. Try bleeding the living **** out of it, before anything else!

Yeah i know, but they say that because they want you to buy thier flyhwheel. The shop that put mine in said they have put in about 40 of them last year and they all had stock flywheels except one. I dont drive the car daily so im not to worried about it.

Well i might consider it soon then. I also thought yall should know that the master i had put in it lasted about 2 miles down the road and then took a dump on me. So DONT GET A MASTER from a auto parts store. I had to put a RAM Adjustable in it.
