Default Clutch pedal on floor,...what happened?

My TA is F*@cked. Last night while shifting from 2nd to 3rd after a stop light, my clutch went to the floor, all the way to the floor. I pulled it out put there was nothing. Something let go because Hydraulic fluid poured onto my exhaust and caused some serious smoke. I checked out the Clutch resvoir and it looked like there was plenty of oil left. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" />

Does anyone know what might have happened and what i should expect when GM takes a look at it. Everything for the clutch is stock, have 25000 miles on car. Any help is appreciated...

I think your slave might have bit the dust. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
