Default Textralia clutch

I am trying to decide which clutch to go with... I am considering either a Tex oz700, tex Twin, or just an LS7 Clutch.

I have a Heads and Cam now and it will probably get nitrous eventually. I want to be able to go the the track once in a while but mostly will get street driven.

I will say a Tex Oz700 z-grip.

I say that becuase I have one and I have about 170-200 miles on it and its like butter, Ive been in cars with stock clutches, Specs (2,3, and 3+) and a RAMHD, and this is by far the best and based on the rating it will take your combo and love it.

Drives better then stock, easy on the legs and bites hard. and will take a 6k dump with ease.

When I am done on my break in, I will have more personal exp with running her.

Give Byunspeed a call I spoke to them and they wouldnt even discuss it over PM, they try to figure out what you need.

From my conversation it was z grip is for the street, the x grip is more of a "ON/OFF" clutch

Isn't it the other way around? X is more street friendly.

This is from Gm High Tech's article:
"Though it is the Z-Grip model for high-horsepower applications that earned Textralia its fame, we chose the OZ700 X-Grip disc for our mostly stock test car."

Going off of that I would think that the Z-Grip is more "on-off" and the X-Grip is the "street" version.
