gear 1 2 3 4 5 6
5500 46 69 94 123 166 246
5600 47 70 96 125 169 250
5700 48 71 98 127 172 254
5800 49 73 100 129 175 259
5900 50 74 101 132 178 263
6000 50 75 103 134 181 268
6100 51 76 105 136 184 272
6200 52 78 106 138 187 277
6300 53 79 108 141 190 281
6400 54 80 110 143 193 286

with a cam you should have a higher rev limit...say 6400

for anything below say 60mph...you could grab 2nd. under 90 or so grab 3rd

and remember you can run 4th pretty damn far.....its a fun gear.

that REALLY helped thanks man

it still amazes me to think that we have 3 or 4 passing gears....

i always tell people...it depends on how fast i want to get around someone.

i'll tell you one thing...dropping the hammer into 3rd gear going 45-50 is NASTY....i'd hate to be the guy next to me with his windows open when i fly by screaming through dual pipes!

it was even worse when i had straight pipes...no mufflers

for downshifting aggressively you should know how to REV MATCH. It saves your tranny and your clutch. Only proper way to downshift.

you can search you tube for REV MATCH.

Clutch, match RPMS & throw it in 3rd, dump the clutch and floor it.
