That is correct guys we have the FIRST LS1 T56 M6 in the 8's. We ran today at Houston Raceway Park.

My bad. We did build a T56 for a Viper that went 8.29@175 so this isn't the first T56 we have in the 8's just the first LS1 ever in the 8's with a M6 T56.

How does it not make sense?

They have the first T56 equipped M6 LS powered vehicle in the 8's. Vipers equipped with T56's have been in the 8's for quite sometime, but they are not an M6 platform vehicle

Flat out badass guys, that is some crazy ****. What all is done to the trans? Can someone purchase the same mods? This might be my next mod when my trans goes, but you guys built me such a good trans I still havent broke it!

 

Yes you can get everything we have. This transmission is a LS1 T56 with Viper input shaft, Viper output shaft, Face plated 1-4 Gears, Mikronited and Cryo'd. We figured we would do this one and see if there was much of a difference with the Mikronited and Cryo'd parts. Nothing yet but it only has 2 passes

That would be Joe driving (wish I could but I am scared to death of the thing and he won't let me being pregnant plus I don't think the baby would like pulling 2.26G's on the launch).

It has a slipper clutch from Mcleod. We haven't messed with the clutch setup in a few weeks as it is fairly close. It takes alot of work getting that clutch close.

Shoot it trapped 8mph faster in the 1/8 than my GTO does in the 1/4. Talk about making me feel bad. Joe says my car is slow. I say it because I can't drive it now. He just likes to show off his.

The GTO isn't slow, but it does like to lose to maroon camaros!!
