Default 2nd Gear slightly "bumps" when I shift

Obviously 2nd gear takes the most abuse, but most of the time when I shift into 2nd, especially when its cold, it kinda hesitates. It feels like it slightly stops on something for a fraction of a second and then slides in.. I can still shift fast and everything, but I just feel this "bump" and you can hear the bump too usually.

And also when I downshift from to any gear usually, it kinda shakes when I am letting out of the clutch, unless I give it gas while I'm letting the clutch out.

What generally causes these 2 problems?

Mine sorta clicks in, I call it notchy, but its like there is a narrowing of the path that the rod slide down, thats normal.

If your getting more of a metal on metal crunch, change your fluid, also cold weather effects oil like this,

A friend of mine says he read in his 02 SS owners manual that you are never supposed to change the gear fluid in a manual transmission, only add to it. But that doesn't make any sense, any truth to that?

I have not changed the fluid since I have got the car, so I need to if I am able to..

3.5 bottles.

You fill from the time, with the drain plug off and as soon as it starts to trickle out, your fine.
