Kinda disapointed
ANy advice will be greatly loved!
Thanks Jim
What is your 60 ft. time? Probably around 2.20 or so right? Do you have some wheel hop? How are your tires?
Answering mrhrzk's questions would probably help too. I haven't been to the track but I can bang the gears pretty good. For the 2-3 shift I keep my palm diagonal and facing towards the passenger airbag, then I just push straight up, goes right to 3rd. I heard the Pro 5.0 is supposed to help even more with the 2-3 shift, are your springs still good and are your stops adjusted properly?

As for the drill mod. It really helps with the later high rpm shifting. If the 2-3 shift is like a wall, then the fluid is getting boiled in the hydraulic line. Insulate the line from the headers along with the drill mod will make high rpm shifting much easier.
As for technique, you need to work on that first. It's not about using your whole arm. It's about the position of your hand and the applied force. I had no problems using the stock shifter + stock stick when shifting. It pales in comparison to my current setup, but it never stopped me from getting a gear I wanted. You'll need to practice shifting positions while driving casually at low rpm. Make a mistake at high rpm and you will find broken pieces along the drivetrain and engine.
