Default M6 trans fluid?

I need to change my fluid out and wanted to know what the best stuff to use is?

I used Amsoil universal ATF tranny fluid. I haven't had any problem yet!

I just use reguler Dextron 3. I did the switch to synthetic and 3k miles later my syncro's went <img border="0" alt="[bomb]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_bomb.gif" /> .

Same thing happened to me when i changed mine. Pulled the car out, shifted hard into second, and GRIND!!! I don't know if its a common thing to have tranny problems show up with the fresh fluid, but it happened to me too

4 quarts and remove the over flow plug(on the drivers side) make sure the car is level and let it drain out the excess fluid.My car took almost 4 quarts.

It calls for 4 quarts of dexron 3. I bought Castrol Dexron 3/mercon for mine today. I've heard people say synthetic caused synchro problems, sounds to me like it don't frickin matter. I also have Redline D4/ATF sitting on the floor. Jeez!
