Default Drill mod necessary for 02' master and Centerforce DF?

Ok, I know everyone says the CF DF sucks, but it's in there already. My master was going bad before I installed the clutch. The clutch pedal has some freeplay at the top of the travel and the shifts are notchy. Also after a couple of full throttle shifts the pedal sticks to the floor.

I plan to make the master adjustable, but I want to know if the drill mod is necessary on the 02' masters.

I heard the 02' masters move more fluid volume.

Yes, the drill mod works for all years. Go for it.
