WTF!! manual gurus inside please!!!
I have a 2000 T/A with a Centerforce DF clutch and flywheel,I have the 145 slave and a new trans. It has always been very notchy and seems to be getting worse,I can't shift it fast at all,my clutch fluid is black, and worst of all when I beat on it slips and is very hard to get into gear.
.I was resistant to getting this clutch, but it was all I could get locally that day on short notice.I guess for now I will what 4mulajoe says until I can replace it. Trending Topics

I bleed all the nasty fluid out of the system and it was fine for a short while, now its hard to get into gear again! Now it seems different though, I can engage the clutch smoothly, but its tough to get into the gears and slow to synchronize between shifts.

See if that helps.

yup.. go with the complete LT1 setup. the splines are the same. you'll have to change the bell housing, as it's diffrent as well as the pedal, slave, TOB, clutch PP, anyway. somone needs to do this.

I finally put in a mcleod master. So far so good buts its only been in there a short while. If this one messes up on me I'm buying a M4. I'm tired of screwing with the shitty hydraulics on this car.
I think the big problem is that we are trying to push on the high pressure, pressure plate with stock hydraulics and they cant take it so they go bad. IE: getting air in them. When you bleed it its all good for a week or two then the same thing over again.
All of the adjustable masters besides the Mcleod are just stock masters with an adjustable arm. McLeod is actually a better master its all billet and pushes more fluid.
The drill mod has to be done I cooked my first clutch by not doing it. The design of the stock setup was to return the fluid slowly as to not cause a bucking if someone released the clutch too fast. What happens is when you release the clutch the fuid will not rush back fast but it is goes back in slowly because the hole is too small. This actually causes the clutch to slip. If you throw a lot of power at it it will slip even more eventually messing up the pressure plate and flywheel..
Good luck I would go for the mcleod adj master if I was you. I've been where you are and it sucks.
