Default HELP me diagnose this simple tranny prob

Ok well it only happens at WOT when I start to get into the power band when the tires and not getting much traction. Well the tranny will kind of hop and the shifter pulses once real quick and the console slams. It only seems to happen when the tires are breaking loose or about to near the top of first. The tranny stays in gear and all, just wondering if it might be a tranny mount.

Note: It has never happend under any other condition.

Its from wheel hop. Could be the trans mount or the torque arm mount. Firs thing I'd do is get some aftermarket lower control arms. It helped mine a lot.

It sounds like a tranny mount. That is a good place to start. Take a look and see if it is broken (support the trans with a block of wood and a jack and remove the bolts for the cross member, if the cross member comes off (without unbolting the tranny mount) you have found your problem. Good luck!
