LS7 Clutch Kit
well i liked mine.... its got 3,000 miles on it. Run it in november with no problems, but went to the track sunday for the first time since last year (and only 300 more miles on it) and on the first pass i fried it. I was on 26"x11.50 et streets and moser 12 bolt. Its a great clutch if its a street car from my experience (which my car is) but not really a track clutch. Bout to drop the change for a tex.
I replaced the slave cylinder as long as the tranny was out. Also the pilot bearing was toast in mine, which turned out to be the culprit of the whole problem. First 200 miles on my LS7 setup are going great though, gotta get that 500 miles done so I can autox this weekend.
I love it...great driveability and so far no issues at the track although I have only ran it a few times with the LS7 setup in. But I have however had a few friendly runs on the highway, way more than at the track and it's never given me a issue.
I also had replaced my slave when I did the clutch and a new pilot bearing too.
