I just want to see how different setups sit in the console. I looked at the ws6 store short stick and IMHO it looks stupid in the car having the **** that low in the console.
Not bashing but its just my opinion, but post some pics for me
Thanks alot

This is a regular pro 5.0 with the threads on the shifter cut down. Its nice because the shifter still retains that angle. I was the same way as you, I didnt wanna shifter that sits too low. My buddy bought me this shifter from a member on this board and he cut down the threads on it. I wouldnt have it any other way. Its way shorter then a regular pro 5.0 and everyone who has a pro 5.0 and drove my car likes it better than theres. I also like it better then theres. Its even more accurate and shorter shifts.

Link to my cardomain page showing before and after of the WS6Store 6" short stick. http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2983608/3 . I don't think it's too low really. It seems a lot lower in Firebirds, because right in front of the shifter, the dash starts to go up. In Camaro's, it's all flat. So, it doesn't look as short.

Sladex how do you like that shift ****? I've been thinking of getting one but im afraid it might be to modern looking for my interior, what do you think? I've also heard they feel good in your hand.

It fits perfectly in my hand, vette owners really get spoiled by GM even the damn shifter **** has some ergonomic design behind it.
Basically makes shifting feel very natural.
As far as looks go, it fits in my interior quite nicely. Very stockish look to it like it was meant to be.

C6 **** looks badass, but I really think it would look out of place in my car. But on the other hand the factory leather **** would look really good if thats the factory one above.
I have the pro 5.0 thats cut down with about .5" of threads left or the shifter total length is 6.25" long. Guess I'll just have to wait till its in the car to see what feels right.
Keep the pics coming though they all look real good

I like the old school look in the white round ball with the 6-speed pattern. I just bought two of them, one for my car and my dads 99 Z28. Maybe it's because I'm 40,lol.
