Default C5 Corvette Clutch Slave/Master Cylinder???

I'm replacing my stock clutch and flywheel with a Spec 3+ clutch and lightweight flywheel on my 99 Corvette FRC. My goal is to make 550 to 600 horepower at the crank. It's mainly my daily summer car that goes to the 1/4 mile track once or twice every 2 months. I only have 82,000kms on it, is it necessary to replace the slave and master cylinders? I've heard that upgrading the 97-00 slave cylinder to a 01-04 Z06 model will do fine for my application.
