Factor Hurst/Lou's short stick question...

Default Factor Hurst/Lou's short stick question...

Did you install the short stick in the opposite direction(bend in the stick pointing towards the rear), than that shown in the directions(figure 2)? Just curious, because this is an option....

I installed mine with the bend going forward. I can't remember exactlly what the directions siad, but I believe that you can install it either way. I seem to recall that if I would have installed it pointing towards the back, it would have made a tight fit. It looked like it fit better when I made it bend foward. Hopefully this helps.

I tried mine both ways. It works fine no matter the set up. I preferred to have it tilted forward -- otherwise, the handle was back too far in 2nd, 4th, & 6th.

Yup angled mine forward as well. I drove a friends car with it angled back and didn't like it as much.
