Default Question about T-56 Hurst Shifter Please help!!

Hi I was wondering if anyone can give me some help? I have a 98 Z28 with a T-56 and I just bought a Hurst Short throw shifter Part # 391-5060 and I don't think I like the Shifter Arm it looks way to long and it is not bent at the same angles as the factory shifter. I was wondering if the factory Hurst shifter Arm was shorter than the factory t-56 shifter arm? and does anyone have any pics of the Hurst Shifter part # 391-5060 in there car? Any help would be thanked.

I have the Hurst Billet Plus. The handle is long but the short stick handles sold are way to short IMO. I ended up cutting the stick at the bottom and removing an inch from the handle and welding it back together and now it is perfect...let me know if you want pics and I will go take some.

Yea if you don't mind I would love to see some pics. Yea it looks really long like a truck shifter, and like you said the short sticks look way to low. Thanks

The factory Hurst uses the same upper handle as the std shifter. So,no its not shorter....its the same part. The Hurst shifter is, however a shorter-throw/ lower-ratio shifter over the std,

Thanks for the info on the stock shifter arm. I think that im going to cut the Hurst shifter arm 1 inch or look at the 6 1/2" long shifter sold at the WS6 store that I found if it will bolt up to the Hurst shifter that I bought.
