Your choice for clutches
Your choice for clutches Guys just interested in what is the best driveable with no chatter clutch that is very durable and handles 500hp? Not really looking to do any hard launches just very easy to use for the lady. Thanks any help would be great.

I just switched from spec 3+ to Tex oz 700 z grip. I've only put 10 miles on it, but I do have to say the pedal is very soft copaired to the spec. Almost scary soft like how can this thing hold anything. Yes it is bleed correctly. No chatter at all. Silky smooth. I can't comment on how well it holds or about durabilty yet. They are not much more then the spec once you figure in the flywheel.
x2 for the Textralia OZ700. If you don't plan on launching hard and aren't running FI, you'll probably want the X-grip instead of the Z-grip. Rated to the same power, though, just made for different uses. The X is more of a street clutch while the Z is more of a strip clutch.

clutch I ran the SPEC 2+, it did have chatter on take off unless you get it dead on. After driving for some time you get used to the "touch"
I now have the ZOOM HP which has VERY good street maners and has held well at the track. I only make about 385 RWHP so 500 may be a bit much for most clutches

I just installed a spec3+ with an aluminum flywheel. So far I like it. the pedal is lighter than I thought it would be (feels almost like stock). I only have 200 miles on my so far. But So far I like it. I switched from an LS7 clutch, and before the LS7, my car had a centerforce df clutch which I hated.
