Default Centerforce clutch

I bought a Centerforce Dual Friction clutch as a replacement for the stocker that's going out. The thing is it says on the box that I need to upgrade the hydraulic slave cylinder and release bearing but I can't find anything but stock parts. Does anyone know where I could get the upgraded parts and a pilot bearing?

Stay with OEM parts only, you will still get the updated version of them when you buy them new. BTW did you get the 12" version? I have it and you will love it just give it its full 500 mile break in on the street before getting on it. If you bought the 11" one then I would send it back and get the 12" one, JMHO

Let me give you some advise or you will have problems with this clutch. If you bought the 11inch version, it will work, but you need to get there steel FW part# 700142 for LS1 98-02, for proper balancing and get an Ram Adjustable Master cylinder. I spent alot of $$ and posted many threads regarding this issue. Now I can shift to 6000-6500 rpms with no problem.

Like the others have said. Make sure you have the newer 12" version. And buy their flywheel or get your stock one turned AND BALANCED TOGETHER before you put it in. As far as the throw out bearing, slave cylinder, and pilot bearing goes, just get them from GM.

I have over 20,000 miles on my 12" centerforce with the centerforce flywheel. I shift at the track at 6900rpm and it does stop and go traffic driving every day.

Its funny how many people love the clutch when it is installed right the first time.
