Might be a stupid question Ok well im new to the manual car thing, im just wondering if it is better to keep the clutch down at a stop light or put it in neutral and let it up???

Too late! If you drive a manual tranny, your left leg is already bigger than your right!
No, actually, I put it in neutral and let the clutch pedal out to save on throw out bearing wear.
