Default ram clutch rebuild, sorta dumb?

Well the ol' GTO at 18-20psi (735whp@15) killed the clutch again after a flywheel resurface. Just not aggressive enough friction material. We wanted to buy just the 900 series disks but Ram will not do that. They will only do a rebuild for 500+ the costs of the "upgraded" 900 series disks. I think its silly to pay for a rebuild when we can bring it to the shop to have it resurfaced and get the minimal hot spots off it. As we did not kill it to the point of destruction. We knew it was slipping so we put it away.

If they will not sell us the 900 series disks I think it will be time for a Spec.
