A4 to M6 swap?????

A4 to M6 swap????? What is required electronic wise? Do the M6s have their own computer like the A4s?
All I should need is the Xmember, hydraulics, clutch, flywheel, console, pedals and shifter. Right? What am I missing?

Re: A4 to M6 swap????? Man, you sure you want to do that. I hate the fact I can't launch like my A4 car with a 4500 stall on sticky tires, get convertor and you'll change your mind.

I did the swap and went to the tuner and had the codes deleted.I thnk it only throws 3 diffrent ones for the shift solenoids .Its not that bad of a swap but make sure that the firewall where you cut the whole for the clutch master cylinder is right i had the firewall tear and had to reinforce it .The pedals are the hardest thing to do.I'm 6'4 300 and it was a pain.
