Default Manual transmission removal?

I have taken 8 bell housing bolts out, the slave cylinder out, the driveshaft, and all brackets out. I can't seem to get tranny off. I have used everything except a come-along. Does anyone have any ideas?? Please help!!

It's hung up on the two dowel pins. Use a pry bar. You might have to take the starter out for this

On mine it was because of the input shaft on the trans was still in the clutch and the bellhousing was hitting the floor had to loosen all the k-member bolts came, right out and it is also easier to put back in.

There is probably a bolt at the top you are missing, when you put the transmission back in the car use anti-seize.

Wait I'm confused. There are bolts that hold the tranny to the bell housing and bolts that hold the bell housing to the block. How did you get your slave cylinder off(since it sits around the input shaft) with the tranny still stuck to the block? Or am I reading that wrong? What pieces are you having difficulty getting apart.

It's true that there are two dowel pins that are very tought to get off the first time due to corrosion(that's why everyone tells you to put anti-seize on when you reinstall). I used a combination of two floor jacks pushing on the front and rear of the tranny to wiggle it out. Plus a pry bar doesn't hurt either

Thanks everyone I have tooking care of it. It was just a real pain in the but. I'm use to the automatics and I took the bellhousing off with the tranny. I put it back on in two pieces and it made it extremely easier!!! Thanks again.
